GORATH Parts Ways With Drummer, Announces Replacement
December 27, 2009Belgian black metallers GORATH have parted ways with drummer K. De Leener and have replaced him with B. Vanderheyden (ILL FARES THE LAND, STORM UPON THE MASSES).
The band's current lineup is as follows:
F. Dupont (guitar, vocals)
B. Put (guitar)
D. Grondelaers (bass)
B. Vanderheyden (drums)
GORATH recently inked a multi-album deal with Germany's Twilight Vertrieb. The band's fourth CD, "MXCII", is due in early 2010. According to the group, the effort is "a concept album all about local history, facts and religious items — all seen through the eyes of the heretic."
"MXCII" was mixed at Shumcot Studio by Renier Schenk and was mastered by Dan Swanö at Unisound.
